Infinix has launched its first flip phone in a select global market– Infinix Zero Flip. The brand’s first clamshell foldable device features a 6.9-inch inner display and a 3.64-inch cover screen, both with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination provides a compact form factor when folded while delivering a large, immersive display when opened, perfect for multitasking and entertainment. The phone is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset and offers up to 512GB of internal storage. According to the company, it features a zero-gap hinge and has a minimal screen crease, enhancing the durability and smoothness of the foldable display.
The Infinix Zero Flip has been priced at $600 (roughly Rs 50,000) for the variant with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. This marks the brand’s entry into the clamshell foldable market, offering competitive specs at a relatively affordable price point. The phone comes in two colour options: Blossom Glow and Rock Black, giving users a choice between a bold and subtle aesthetic.
The device is expected to roll out in more regions soon, with prices varying depending on the market. Infinix has also hinted at plans to launch the Zero Flip in India, potentially expanding its reach in key smartphone markets.
The Infinix Zero Flip features a 6.9-inch full-HD+ AMOLED main display alongside a 3.64-inch AMOLED cover screen, both supporting a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset, and is equipped with up to 16GB of RAM, which includes virtual RAM. The device also supports up to 512GB of internal storage, providing ample space for apps, media, and files. These specifications make it a powerful option in the foldable smartphone market, delivering high-end performance and an immersive display experience.
For optics, the Infinix Zero Flip is equipped with a dual-camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera. For selfies, the inner display houses a 50-megapixel front camera, making it a powerful option for photography.
Both the front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, ensuring high-quality video capture. Additionally, the phone includes an AI Vlog Mode, which provides step-by-step instructions to help users transform raw footage into polished vlogs, enhancing the user experience for content creators.
The foldable packs a 4,720mAh battery with 70W fast charging support and 10W wired reverse charging support.
The Infinix Zero Flip also integrates GoPro features with a dedicated GoPro mode that allows users to adjust settings directly from the phone. Additionally, the Zero Flip can be used as a display for GoPro footage, enhancing its versatility for action camera enthusiasts. The phone’s cover screen features a Dynamic MultiView Display, where users can add customisable 3D animated pets and shortcuts to popular apps like YouTube and WhatsApp.
Moreover, the new Infinix foldable comes equipped with Google Gemini technology, offering an AI-powered NFC wallet for contactless payments, along with AI-assisted photography and video capabilities. It also includes AI noise reduction to improve audio quality during calls and recordings, making it a feature-packed device for a wide range of users.
